AJ Judson - Project Manager

In 2018, AJ ventured to Washington, where he contributed his expertise to Apollo Mechanical, a prominent mechanical contractor. Here, he spent three years overseeing their fabrication shop before embracing a new challenge with the ICON team as a Project Manager. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of working on notable projects, including those for Microsoft and a significant hotel venture in Everett, Washington.

AJ brings a distinctive perspective to his role as a Project Manager, drawing from his hands-on experience as a plumber and pipefitter during his time in the Army. What’s your favorite project you’ve worked on?

• • Microsoft Campus Refresh in Redmond, Washington. His greatest source of satisfaction stems from his hands-on involvement in the fabrication shop, where he relished the opportunity to witness the transformation of raw materials into the final deliverables for clients. During this time, he took pleasure in devising innovative processes and optimizing existing ones, all in pursuit of greater efficiency and enhanced project outcomes.

If you could live anywhere in America, where would it be?

• • Michigan holds a special place in his heart, thanks to the allure of the Great Lakes and cherished childhood memories spent with family. On the other hand, North Carolina beckons with its unique blend of lush greenery, affordability, and a way of life deeply rooted in traditional family values. Both locations offer distinct charms, making the choice a delightful dilemma.
