Drew Miller - Director of Sales

Drew is a fourth-generation plumber. He worked with his uncle all through high school and became a commercial plumber at 18. Through his time in the industry, Drew moved from working in the field to working with BIM detailing, to becoming a mechanical engineer, and finally into his current position as director of sales. 

It’s important to Drew to share his knowledge and experience with others and see other people on his team succeed. He loves introducing detailing to journeymen working in the field and showing tradespeople the different roles they could take on in the industry. When motivating others, he likes to roll up his sleeves and work side-by-side with his team. This willingness to share his knowledge and support his team in getting things done helps them learn and grow in the industry.

What problem would you love to solve for the construction industry?

• • I’d love to show young people the full picture of what working in the trades can offer. There’s a misconception about the quality of life and earning potential the trades offers and I’d love to see more young people getting into the industry.

What’s your favorite project you’ve worked on?

• • Dodger Stadium HVAC renovation in Los Angeles. I’ve been a Dodgers fan as long as I can remember and getting to work on their stadium was a special experience. It was also my first project where I was responsible for the detailing.

If you could live anywhere in America, where would it be?

• • I’d like to try living off the beaten path in the Sierra. Somewhere like Vermillion Valley or Mono Hot Springs.
